The TransWorld SLAM Festival presented by ALTA Motors is rapidly approaching, and the September 9 event at Milestone MX Park in Riverside, CA will be highlighted by the annual SLAM Pro race. There is some exciting news regarding this year’s running of the exciting pro race, with the most important being the doubling of the purse to $10,000! This year, racers will compete on the Milestone main MX track (not Supercross) in two five-lap sprint motos. A special, pro-only section will be incorporated for the SLAM Pro race. The race is open to all professional racers who would like to enter. A timed practice session at the start of the event will serve as a qualifier for the top-10 fastest riders, who will fill the starting gate in the two championship motos. A traditional scoring system will be used to determine overall finishing positions after the two motos. First place will take home $5000 and the highly coveted TransWorld SLAM Champion Belt. Second place will earn $3000, and the third and final podium position will go home with an impressive $2000.

The first high-profile racer to confirm his participation in the TransWorld SLAM Pro race is wildly popular Supercross privateer Adam Enticknap. Affectionately known as “The 7 Deuce Deuce,” Enticknap says, “I am excited to get back behind a starting gate and have fun with some cool people! It’s been too long!”
