Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Remove the Seat

Use an 8mm socket to remove the seat bolts. Carefully lift the seat off and set it aside.

Step 2: Locate the Stock ECU

The ECU is located under the seat near the airbox. It is mounted in a rubber holder and connected via a wiring harness.

Step 3: Disconnect the Stock ECU

Carefully press the tab on the connector and pull it free. Do not force it—make sure the tab is fully disengaged.

Step 4: Remove the ECU from the Mount

Slide the stock ECU out of its rubber holder.
