Description
The Vortex X10 ECU is a plug-in replacement engine control unit for the 2009-2026 Yamaha YFZ450R. Unlike a piggyback fuel controller, the Vortex replaces the original ECU and manages both fuel delivery and ignition timing.
The ECU arrives preprogrammed with 10 performance fuel and ignition maps developed through dyno and track testing. Riders can select a map and fine-tune fueling without connecting a laptop.

Installation and Setup
The Vortex X10 connects directly to the standard YFZ450R wiring harness and works with the original engine sensors. No computer is required to use the included maps or the low, mid and high fuel-trim adjustments.
The correct map and fuel settings depend on your exhaust, intake, engine modifications, fuel and riding conditions. Make adjustments methodically and confirm that the selected settings are appropriate for your complete engine combination.

What Is Not Included?
