Description
The Dunlop Mutant Rear Motorcycle Tire is engineered for riders who want versatile performance across changing road conditions. Featuring Jointless Band Technology (JLB), the tire uses a continuously wound belt within the carcass to help limit dynamic growth and promote more consistent handling at speed. This construction supports confident control during commuting, touring, and spirited street riding.
Dunlop’s Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) provides varying tension throughout the tire architecture, delivering targeted stiffness and compliance where needed. A high-silica compound and deep tread channels help enhance wet-weather performance by supporting water evacuation and maintaining road contact on damp surfaces. The aggressive tread pattern is designed to provide dependable traction and responsive handling in a wide range of conditions.
Built for the rear position, the Dunlop Mutant combines modern construction technologies with a versatile tread design for riders seeking a capable, road-focused motorcycle tire. The 170/60ZR17 fitment and (72W) speed and load rating make it a suitable replacement option for compatible motorcycles. Use the vehicle manufacturer’s fitment guidance to confirm compatibility before installation.
