TL;DR: The Woods map is the best upgrade I've done to my bike.
I initially did the upgrade because my bike would not hold an even speed. I was either rapidly speeding up, or the engine braking was slowing me down like I had my foot on the brake. It made the bike a chore to ride. With the Woods Map, I can hold an even speed, and it takes just slightly more throttle twist to lift the front tire off the ground. The throttle is so much less twitchy. Overall power is about the same, it just lets you be more intentional about when you use it.
They tried to help with the flame outs, but really they only made that about 10% better. I think there's only so much you can do for a roided out high compression 4 stroke with a light flywheel. I'm not going to hold it against them.
The coolest part is that they replace the awful Map 1, while you still have access to the "Race Power" OEM Map 2.
For $200, I'd totally do this all over again.
